Tree Removal
Hiring the right company to cut and remove your tree or trees is crucial to ensure your peace of mind, as well as preserve the value of your property. Tree removal involves more than just cutting down a tree. It requires a thorough knowledge of tree species and the hazards associated with decay in live and dead trees.

Safe tree removal requires a knowledge of dynamic loading and the limits of tree rigging equipment. Tree removal should always be a controlled process, leaving nothing to chance. You can rest assured that Total Tree Health Care carefully plans and executes every tree removal with caution and critical thinking.

When is Tree Removal Appropriate?
Tree Removal may be required when:
Tree is dead
Tree has severe decay, sometimes indicated by fruiting bodies (photo, right)
Tree has critical structural defects such as cracks

Tree is in decline, with more than 50% dead or dying branches
Management practices such as pruning don't meet customer's needs

Safety
Tree removal is a potentially hazardous process. Some of the dangers include:
Injury from the equipment (chainsaws, chippers, etc.)
Injury from falling branches or other debris
Damage to your (or your neighbor's) house, vehicles, landscape, and other property

When executing a tree removal, safety and the protection of your property are our priorities. Consequently, we will not take shortcuts to cut costs or to save time if we believe a shortcut could in any way increase the likelihood of an accident or damage.
